SATU Semiconductor Gathering 2026 at IIT Bombay

Prof. Santhosh and team participated in the SATU Semiconductor Gathering 2026 hosted by IIT Bombay from 16–19 March 2026. The event brought together experts, faculty, government representatives, and industry leaders from across the South and Southeast Asian Technical University (SATU) network to exchange insights and strengthen regional collaboration in the semiconductor domain.

Sessions included presentations on semiconductor research and education initiatives, panel discussions on workforce development, research translation, entrepreneurship, and national policy frameworks. Participants visited key semiconductor-focused facilities at IIT Bombay, gaining valuable exposure to industry perspectives and innovation in the semiconductor ecosystem.

Indo-French Forum: AI in Brain Health and Global Healthcare at AIIMS New Delhi

Prof. Santhosh and team participated in the Indo-French Forum on AI in Brain Health and Global Healthcare, an academic workshop held at AIIMS New Delhi on 19 February 2026. The event featured expert talks by leading Indian and French academicians, with parallel thematic sessions covering AI and global health, AI in research and education, and Indo-French collaborations in artificial intelligence.

Panel discussions explored translational research, ethics, innovation, and future directions in healthcare. The workshop brought together faculty, researchers, and students from across disciplines, reinforcing INTRINSIC Lab's engagement in applying AI towards neuroscience, brain health, and healthcare innovation through international academic partnerships.

India-AI Impact Summit 2026: Global Collaboration with APRIL AI Hub

Prof. Santhosh and team had the privilege of meeting Prof. Dame Wendy Hall, Co-Director of the APRIL AI Hub (University of Edinburgh), at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi, February 2026. This historic event marked the first-ever global AI summit hosted in the Global South, announced by Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the France AI Action Summit. The Summit brought together international leaders to strengthen multilateral AI cooperation, toward demonstrable impact and tangible progress. Building on the momentum of the UK AI Safety Summit, AI Seoul Summit, France AI Action Summit, and Global AI Summit on Africa, this convening emphasized inclusive growth, social development, and people-centric innovation that serves humanity while protecting our planet.

Meeting Prof. Dame Wendy Hall in India, following our previous meeting at the UK AI Research Symposium in Newcastle, gives immense pleasure. This international collaboration continues to advance INTRINSIC Lab's shared vision of responsible explainable AI development for Quantum, Healthcare, Education and other key allied areas, amplifying the voice of the Global South and ensuring technological opportunities are shared broadly across regions. The APRIL AI Hub led by Prof. Themis Prodromakis remains an integral partner in our research journey, enabling meaningful global connections.

AI for Education at Bodhan AI Conclave

Prof. Santhosh Sivasubramani and team presented their work on AI for Education - Design and Development of Indian Knowledge System as AI algorithms during the Ministry of Education and IIT Madras Bodhan AI Conclave. The presentation showcased VIDYA (Vedic Intelligence Driven Yield-based Adaptive Learning Intelligence system), demonstrating how indigenous knowledge systems can be integrated with modern AI frameworks.

The work highlighted INTRINSIC Lab's commitment to developing culturally grounded educational technologies that bridge traditional wisdom with contemporary artificial intelligence, creating adaptive learning systems that honor India's rich intellectual heritage while advancing cutting-edge AI capabilities for personalized education.

Prof. Santhosh and team participated in the People-Led AI in Health (PLAIH) Conference at India International Centre, New Delhi, an official pre-event of the India AI-Impact Summit. The conference brought together stakeholders to advance democratic and equitable approaches to digital health technology.

Engaging in discussions on responsible AI deployment in healthcare settings, the participation reflected INTRINSIC Lab's and RSL Quantum's commitment to bridging technological innovation with real-world health challenges.
